The USC Fencing Club is hosting the Linkmeyer Invitational Tournament on February 11th at the USC Campus in Los Angeles. This tournament has been an annual event for many years that allows fencers of all three weapons to gain experience, and potentially earn letter ratings. Positioned at the beginning of February, it is also a great preparatory tournament for Junior Nationals, for those planning to attend. In addition, its location at USC is a great opportunity for students to see one of the best Universities in the country.

The tournament was originally created by epee fencer Fred Linkmeyer to promote the sport of Fencing in Los Angeles as well as within the USC community. A strong supporter of the fencing community, his legacy is continued by this tournament and the continuation of the USC fencing tradition.

This tournament is well organized with refs and a vendor. It is a great opportunity for fencers, both those just starting out, and experienced. You MUST be preregistered to compete in the tournament; registration closes on February 9 at midnight.
